Meet our 2025 QTA Regional Finalists
|
We’re thrilled to announce that 227 exceptional finalists have been selected across our seven regions for the 2025 Queensland Training Awards. A huge thank you to everyone who submitted or supported a nomination — your stories have inspired us all. We're also incredibly grateful to our 59 dedicated judges, including past winners, industry experts, training stakeholders and departmental representatives, who reviewed and assessed almost 750 nominations across 14 categories and 27 panels.
Each finalist showcased the power of vocational education and training, whether they're apprentices, trainees, passionate teachers, community champions or industry leaders. We can’t wait to celebrate with you at the regional finals! But, don’t just take our word for it — hear what our judges had to say. |

“I have had the absolute privilege of serving as a judge for the Queensland Training Awards for the past five years, and it remains one of the most rewarding roles I’ve ever been part of. From reading the nominations to meeting the finalists, every step in the process is filled with stories of dedication, resilience and transformation.
These awards don’t just recognise achievement; they showcase the power of education and how government-supported training opportunities are genuinely changing lives and uplifting communities across Queensland.” |

“I’m proud to be part of something that shines a light on the incredible impact of education and training across Queensland. I hope I get to keep doing this for many more years because being a part of these awards is one of the best things I have ever been involved in and continues to excite me every time I am selected as a judge. I am proud to be involved in something so special that changes people's lives.” |

Entry is FREE and there’s something for everyone – whether you’re a future apprentice, a tradie-in-training, a proud parent, a career influencer or a skills super fan.
|
Come and cheer on our 121-strong Queensland team as they compete across 60+ skill categories – and experience the action, energy and talent that make this event a true showcase of excellence.
Can’t make it in person? No worries – catch it all on Channel WSA, streaming live from the arena. Make sure you don’t miss this spectacular showcase of skills, proudly supported by the Queensland Government and TAFE Queensland. |
