Hooray for training champions!

Ever wondered what it would be like to be a training champion?

For newly-crowned Australian and Queensland Trainee of the Year Breanna Cassidy (pictured) it’s already included multiple media interviews and invitation to attend an industry event with her employer Zip Print Australia to promote the power of skills and the Queensland Training Awards.

Breanna’s powerful training story started as a school leaver, committed to earn-and-learn her way to a nationally recognised qualification — her Certificate III in Business. Fast-forward to today, Breanna is continuing her passion for design in an apprenticeship and, with national and state training titles under her belt, is determined to be a strong voice for training pathways.

“Competing in the Queensland Training Awards and being named the Australian and Queensland Trainee of the Year was the most incredible experience,” Breanna said.“I am inspired to do and be more, and encourage others to back themselves and enter the awards. You just never know where it will take you.

”Meanwhile 2017 Vocational Student of the Year Rachael Turner continues to build on her business and success — recently named Professional Woman of the Year in the 2020 QLD Building Women Awards. Go Rachael!
